Educational Award
Annually the Connecticut Chapter of CMSA offers educational assistance to sponsor
members that otherwise would not be able to attend the National CMSA
conference. Applicants must be in good standing with CMSA and CT-CMSA and have demonstrated their commitment to promoting case management and CT-CMSA.
The National CMSA conference in San Francisco in June is fast approaching. The CT chapter has grant funds of $1500 for four people plus one for the President of the chapter. If you are interested, please submit your request and why you should be given this funding to Jo Anne Tuccio by March 25th. The applications will be judged by a committee of Board members and the winners will be notified at the April 11 meeting so applications for the convention can be submitted. CT Case Manager of the Year award applications are also needed by April 11th. You may submit for yourself or any member. Please submit to Jo Anne Tuccio so the committee can judge them. Qualified CT-CMSA members must submit an essay of 500 words or less explaining why they would like to attend and how their attendance at the national conference will enhance their professional growth and ability to deliver quality case management services in their chosen field. It is hoped that individuals receiving these educational funds will gain confidence in their ability to take a more active role in the operation and leadership of CT-CMSA by volunteering their time. The award committee will review all applications and announce recipients at the next CT-CMSA meeting. Interested Members Should Submit Their Essay- By: March 25, 2012 To: Jo Anne Tuccio |
